LA CADENA DE SUMINISTRO SEGÚN CAYCO

The Supply Chain According to CAYCO

International transportation, customs management, storage, and distribution for all destinations.

CAYCO is dedicated to transportation, customs management, storage, and distribution of goods, activities that shape the company’s service offerings both nationally and internationally.

These concepts are reflected in this diagram, representing the supply chain between manufacturers and their clients, and the synergies produced between the different phases of the process (B2B).

International transportation is the initial activity of this supply chain since goods always have a sender (manufacturer, distributor) and a recipient (distributor, retailer, or end customer) via sea, air, or land transportation.

When goods from third countries enter the community territory, they must be cleared through customs management, another principal activity of CAYCO.

Once the goods have settled the tax charges, they may need to be stored awaiting other final activities. This mission and all the management it involves is another fundamental area of CAYCO, generating several specialties within the logistics solutions group, such as goods control and its various processes: inventory, consolidation, deconsolidation, replenishment, etc.

Finally, if the stored goods are not re-exported, they move to a new phase of transportation, this time regional, national, or community, which we call distribution.

This phase completes the flow in the supply chain. At a certain point, the chain can be reversed, and the diagram would be read from right to left, using the same distribution channel to collect goods that will be finally exported.
